If it needs to be sealed, SikaLastomer® butyl tapes, butyl caulk, hot applied, and Sikaflex® one-part polyurethane’s are the obvious choice in the metal construction industry. You’ll find our products providing weather tight seals in the most demanding applications - from Standing Seam Roof end laps, roof curbs and vents, to vertical wall panels and everything in between.

Our product line includes a broad array of sealant products developed specifically for painted metals, aluminized steel, KYNAR 500™, GALVALUME™, Zincalume® and ZINCGRIP™, as well as steel, wood and reinforced fiberglass. Tape products are available in a wide variety of profiles and widths up to 18”, and include SikaLastomer®, SikaLastomer® with shims, and SikaLastomer® “Triple bead” tapes. Triple bead tapes are ideal for penetrable installations including roof curbs and vent jacks. SikaLastomer® non-skinning, non-hardening butyl caulk stands up to intense water head pressures and can be field applied, or factory applied using standard automated equipment.

Other SikaLastomer® product offerings include a hot applied, foamed-in-place gasketing sealant and a hot applied Butyl Melt. Both products are non-hardening sealants designed for factory sealing the female lip of SSR and wall panels. Sikaflex® one-part polyurethanes seal everything from windows and doors, to roof gutters, eaves, roof curbs, roof jacks and skylights.
